Prayer

Lord, we thank you for the foundations that your scripture has provided for our system of government. We pray that those in our governments will return to this foundation. We pray that you will raise up just leaders in the government. We pray for the elected officials - the mayor the City Council members, the governor, state representatives and senators, The president, the congressman and the senators. We pray for your hand upon the house and the Senate and the leaders of the house and the Senate. Pray for the bureaucrats in all the government agencies across the city, the county, the state and the federal governments. We pray that those in authority will fear you. We pray that our senators will make just laws. We pray for all the judges in the justice system that they will be fair in all their judgments. We pray for all the law enforcement - the sheriffs and the officers and all those who are in supporting roles. We pray for their safety and protection. We pray that that they will do their duty diligently and justly. Give them Your wisdom and Your guidance as they make quick decisions in tricky situations. May their hands strive for righteousness and peace. We bind every evil scheme in Jesus’ name. May every evil plan come to nothing. We pray against corruption in the government. May truth and justice prevail in the land.

Declaration

In Jesus name, we decree righteousness and peace in the governments of this land. We decree justice and peace in the halls of our courts. We declare that Jesus is the ultimate head authority over our governments and that his righteousness will reign upon this land.
