Prayer
Father, revive your church. Rescue her from the apathy that has lulled her to sleep. Convict her of the ways of the world that have crept into her habits. Help us to repent and to return to you. Forgive us of our sins. Help us to take you at your word. Fill us with renewed faith and a renewed understanding of the gospel. Let the things that break your heart break our hearts too. May your passions be our passions. May your longings be our longings. Let your Holy Spirit fall mightily upon your Church. May the world see the fruit of the spirit when they look at the Church. Pour out your love within the Church so that the world may see that we belong to you. Help us to walk in the strength and in the power of your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, move in us. Holy Spirit, move us. Revive your Church, Lord!
