Prayer
Lord, we pray for the pastors and the leaders of the church. We pray that they will serve you faithfully. We pray that you will guard their hearts and their minds from the attacks of the enemy. Guard their marriages and their children from the evil schemes of the enemy. We pray that they will pay careful attention to the flock. We pray that you would keep them from harming the sheep. We pray that you will keep them sober minded, self-controlled, gentle and able to teach. Give them the strength that they need as they fight the battles. May their ministry flow out of their personal relationship with you. May they experience a sweet intimacy with you. We pray that they will remain faithful to their calling to the end.
Declaration
By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare a return to the foundation on the word, a renewed vision for the Great Commission and the fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the church, the bride of Christ. In the name of Jesus, we bind every evil force working against faithful servants of the Lord as they lead His flock. No weapon formed against the church will prosper because Christ is her shield and her fortress. She will be victorious because Christ has already won the battle on her behalf.
