Prayer
Lord, you are sovereign over all the universe. You set up kings and depose them according to your purposes. We pray for free, fair and truthful elections. We pray for wisdom as the people select their candidates. We pray for truthfulness and justice among the election officials. We pray for a proper functioning of the election systems. We pray that the candidate that you have chosen to rule over this land for the next term will prevail; that you would give your people the wisdom to choose in accordance with your leading; that your followers in this land will seek your face and submit to your will in this matter.
Declaration
In the name of Jesus, we declare that truthfulness, justice and righteousness will prevail through this election process; that Jesus will be magnified by its results; that as a result, righteousness, peace, justice and prosperity will prevail in the land.
